Connections of Hope

Hope for life, Hope for the future, Hope for Survival!
2019Beverly

Through my travels last night I was amazed at the stillness in the air. People were moving about in a dazed state of being. I could see the confusion in their eyes, the weight of the world resting heavy on their hearts, in their souls.

I feel the stirring deep within my self begin to bubble up…to the point of almost explosion. The question keeps forming… How do I connect with you? How do I make you see?

We are all connected - Connected by the thread of hope. Some of the threads are strong and hold fast, others are frayed and faded losing their grip, and I fight to keep all threads hanging on tight. I do not want to loose even one!

I wish I could come up with the words that would help eveyone understand just what it is I am feeling, just what it is I am trying to do.

I am out and about making connections with this crazy world of ours, touching base as much as I can with every one I run across. This is really nothing new for me as this is how I live my life. I feel that everyone I come across is important - has a purpose in this world, it does not matter the color of their skin, how much money they do or do not have, what religion they belong to, who their parents are, it does not matter. They have a purpose and a right to be here. I feel that I run across different people for a reason. In some cases I have something to offer them, in most they have something to offer me even if I did not realize it at the time.

I have gained and developed many good friends this way. The connections I make today are just as important to me as the ones I made yesterday.

The Foundation of Hope is just the seed of a very big idea that I have. The Foundation of Hope is something that I have been dreaming about for what seems like most of my life. Each day the Foundation of Hope shifts just a little bit to become a little more clear. The vision is there - I just need to help others see it. This I will continue to do! So if you happen across my path, and we stop what we both are doing to exchange a few words, please know when we both go back to what we were doing, part ways… that I touched you… Touched you with Hope.

I think that The Foundation of Hope will undergo a name change in the not to far future. I am thinking that the name will change from The Foundation of Hope to Connections of Hope. You see I am not trying to rule you, or tell you what to do. I am only trying to connect with you so that I can give you hope when you need it. Hope for life, Hope for the future, Hope for Survival!

Hope is a thread we are all connected by. Hope is what holds everyone together and move forward in life. Even at times when hope seems to have faded from our lives it will return because it is apart of all of us. Your Foundation of Hope is a great idea. Everyone needs to see the hope and your program will help everyone come together and see there is hope in this world.

Wow I think this is a really amazing concept! I completely agree when you say that everyone has a purpose in this world. We should be past the point of judging and discriminating against skin color, economic status or religion. Who are we to judge? Why not try and make a connection with people we come across? With an unsure future ahead of us, we could all use a few more friends.

Isn't hope a wonderful thing? I love your idea of connecting to people and hope, I had never put the two together. I have often "people watched" and just thought about what kind of lives they lead, especially the elderly, what stories do they have? What insight can we gain from them? Hope is a wonderful thing and I hope you never lose it.

I can really relate to what this person is saying. Connecting with people is one of the greatest things in life. We are now part of a world where we should be able to look past religion, race and gender and get to know the person witin.

Hope! What an amazing concept! It amazes me how we live our lives, day by day with the hope we have inside us. I enjoyed reading about how you make connections of hope. I feel the same way about that whatever happens to us, there is a purpose. Hold tight to what you have and appreciate what you have.

Hope is what connects us. We all need to have hope and to know that we can make it through whatever together. We do need to have hope for the future and that we will find ways to survive. We need to start today finding these ways to survive instead of being confused and lost!

Reading your story put a smile on my face, truly. I can really relate to your ideas about making connections, and that the people you meet are in your life for a reason (though don't always realize it at the time). I think that in this our fast-paced society, it is often too easy to resort to technology for communication, but it's the people in our lives we need to stay connected to because that's what really matters. Your Foundation of Hope is a beautiful thing.

Sorry about the empty entries above. I want to say that for me living with hope is what makes us human. At the end of the day, what keeps us from giving up or giving in? Hope. And, I would add possibility. With hope there is also possibility. We are living in a time that requires to connect to hope. I am reminded of Viktor Frankl's "In Search of Meaning", a story of hope and possibility, based on his vision of an anticipated future founded in his past experiences. In 21st Century Ideas, why don't we begin to share our stories of hope from participating in this experience. What are our individual stories of hope and what are the themes that are emerging? What is the foundation of hope, as you express that keeps us striving to be the best we can.

Each person has a different story - but I believe it is hope that has pulled them through the rough waters, I believe it is hope that moves them forward. Anyone who has ever experienced hope will pass that hope forward...

Remember that movie called "Hope Floats"? I don't remember it - but the title sticks with me. For me it's as though is always able to rise above whatever it is that might pull other things down. Not hope. It is impervious. I look forward to seeing this new Mega--Micro-Superstruct - when it forms please let us in Quantum Connections know of it - as there is great synergy to be found.
