Starting a superstructure is only the beginning. The real task is envisioning what it can do, how it will work, and who you need to work with. If you're not a member, consider joining now. If you are a member, be bold, jump in, and use the superstructure to start organizing for survival. Edit it, add to the vision, and make it real, online and off. And don't forget to rave.

    • The rules are roughly the Superstruct rules. Except you're gonna run the game yourself.

      But here are some simplified "live" rules :

       

      1) Players start in 2030. All 5 superthreats are still with us.

      2) Each round represents a year. And each player has to tell one story, create one discussion and suggest one superstruct for this year.

      3) In the round, the other players then choose whether to rave and / or join your superstruct. Regardless of how many players there are, the group gains 1 year for a story, suggestion, superstruct that everyone raves, or for a superstruct for which at least 2 people join.  The group gains 2 years for a superstruct which everyone chooses to join. Be honest with yourselves, the idea is not to gain years at any cost, but to invent superstructs that people genuinely want to join.

      4) The next round represents the following year, and players can create their new stories, discussions and superstructs in light of the previous year's events.

      5) Optionally, players can invent new superthreats, if everyone in the group agrees to them.

       

      If you don't like these rules, feel free to change them. Particularly if you can invent a better game, or get better ideas.
