    Needs:

    Slide projector or LCD projector. Power inverter. Vehicle. Auto not necessary, but car battery is preferred source of power.  A car battery and a handcart will do the trick, in a pinch. Be sure to have a recharger handy.

       This is easy, really. Simply create warning/instruction graphics, then project them LARGE on the sides of buildings in heavily populated areas using either a slide projector or an LCD projector. You won't have to wait long to engage the public and inform them how to deal with ongoing threats. It is important, of course, to be well-versed on your subject matter. Some citizens will be hostile. Expect this and use your best verbal judo to bring them around to the importance of your message. After all, it's their life you'll be saving, whether or not they appreciate it.

      Images show projections as well as some of the people we encountered who had questions. Unbelievably, we ran into a group of plant pathologists who, despite the devestation of the 2017 lupine malaria outbreak, insisted that unregulated GMOs are the fastest way to close the calorie gap. Of course, they're right, in a way, but the potential for another epidemic makes me shudder.

       

      EQUIPMENT:

      LCD projector of 1800 lumens will do the trick, as will a quality slide projector like a Kodak Ektographic II. Be aware that the slide projector draws more power, but has the ability to throw farther with the addition of a "long throw" lens (hard to find). Projectors above 2500 lumens will require a portable generator, which raises the issue of fuel. However, a powerful enough projector can transmit a message visible for miles. 

       Additionally, a backpack-sized projector should be able to be constructed using a 3-million candlepower rechargeable flashlight and cobbled together lenses. I've yet to create a fully-functioning kit, but it does seem possible for this hyper-portable tool to be created on the cheap.
