GEAS ASSESSMENT OF CATEGORY 3/POWER STRUGGLE
Category 3's involvement in the Power Struggle superthreat seems to have been limited, although its apparent cooperation with groups such as Earth's Righteous Fist suggests that Category 3 had some kind of agenda related to the superthreat.
The GEAS "tiger team" responsible for predicting possible "super-empowered angry individual" responses to the Human Extinction Report suggests that Category 3 would have likely begun to focus on Power Struggle only after it had dealt with the other superthreats. As Power Struggle is projected to peak quickly, then decline, the tiger team argues that the probable Category 3 strategy would have been to attempt to slow its decline, thereby extending its damage to global infrastructure.
