Attacks on GEAS
Message to the GEAS Volunteer Network: Over the two weeks subsequent to the release of the Extinction Report, the Global Extinction Awareness System has come under repeated and relentless attack, from hostile individuals and -- as of this past Friday -- governments.
We have unconfirmed reports of arrests of GEAS personnel and volunteers in Russia, India, and the United States, and over 20 reports of assaults on GEAS-identified individuals in the past 72 hours alone.
PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR OWN SAFETY. While we at GEAS are grateful and encouraged by the level of support and enthusiasm demonstrated by the volunteers in the Superstruct endeavor, we want you to be aware that your own safety may also be at risk by your participation.
